Joining a national beauty pageant takes more than just poise and presence — it demands stamina, discipline, and a focused mindset. For the 36 candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2025, staying healthy throughout the competition is just as important as looking their best. This year, the pageant renewed its partnership with My Daily Collagen as its official wellness partner.

"This is our second year working with Bb. Pilipinas, and we're glad to be continuing the collaboration," said Anna Perez, president of Global Wellness Enterprises, the company behind My Daily Collagen — a proudly homegrown brand manufactured in Japan.

According to chief sales officer Oliver Salas, the pageant had already taken interest in the brand prior to the partnership. "They did their research," he said. "They looked into various products and spoke with former candidates who had been using our collagen and noticed a difference."

While collagen is often linked to skin health — something pageant contestants understandably value — Perez, a registered nurse, pointed out that its benefits go beyond beauty. "It supports the immune system, promotes wound healing, and has even been linked to heart and brain health in emerging studies," she shared.

My Daily Collagen comes in two formats: a drink made with collagen, royal jelly, elastin, hyaluronic acid, ceramide, and vitamins; and a tablet that uses ultra-small collagen molecules for easier absorption.

Perez said consistency is key: "You have to use it regularly to really notice internal changes, especially during high-stress periods like pageant season."

She added that many candidates gave unsolicited feedback during the partnership. "They told us they didn't just look better — they felt better and had more energy to get through the long days of training."

The brand's foray into pageantry builds on its background in sports, where it has supported triathlons and volleyball tournaments. Moving into the world of beauty, Perez said, was a way to emphasize the importance of balance. "It's not just about looking good — it's about feeling good, too."

Salas said the decision to maintain exclusivity with Binibining Pilipinas speaks to the values the two share. "We've chosen to focus our efforts here because we believe in the partnership," he said.

And that support continues even after the coronation night on June 15. "We're with them as they prepare for international competitions," Salas added.
